<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container with a lid that suppresses unexpected floating or falling of a lid member while suppressing deterioration in workability when opened and closed. <P>SOLUTION: The container 1 with a lid includes: a container body 2 including a storage 3 opening upward and having a substantially box shape, and a flange 4 projecting from the whole periphery of the upper edge of the storage 3 toward the outward peripheral direction of an opening of the storage 3; and the lid member 7 for closing the opening of the storage 3. The lid member 7 includes a frame rib 21 projecting downward from the lower surface, when the opening of the storage 3 is closed with the lid member 7, the lower surface of the lid member 7 is supported at the upper surface of the flange 4 along the outer peripheral edge of the lid member 7, and the frame rib 21 abuts on or comes close to the inner peripheral surface of the storage 3.
