<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized hinge device capable of turning a support object such as a thin display device in a swivel direction and a tilt direction. <P>SOLUTION: A hinge device includes: a movable plate 21 disposed on the upper side of a base plate 13 rotatably in the swivel direction via a swivel hinge mechanism 20, and a movable bracket 31 disposed on the upper side of the movable plate 21 rotatably in the tilt direction via a tilt hinge mechanism 30. The tilt hinge mechanism 30 includes a fixed bracket 33 fixed onto the movable plate 21 with a pair of vertical walls 33a placed back to back, a movable bracket 31 having a pair of vertical walls 31a disposed on both sides of the vertical walls 33a of the fixed bracket 33, a tilt shaft 35 to be inserted into the vertical wall 33a of the fixed bracket 33 and the vertical wall 31a of the movable bracket 31, and a second spring member 37 applying an operation resistance to the rotational operation of the movable bracket 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
