<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide grained artificial leather having excellent mechanical properties, in particular, excellent peeling strength between a substrate layer and a grain layer, a soft feeling, natural leather-like wrinkles and a solid feeling. <P>SOLUTION: The grained artificial leather includes a grain layer on at least one side of a substrate layer including a filament-entangled material composed of ultrafine filaments having an average fineness of 0.001-0.5 dtex and a polymeric elastomer optionally impregnated into the entangled material. The grain layer is adhered to the substrate layer via an adhesive layer. The grained artificial leather satisfies the following requirements at the same time: (1) the weight ratio of the polymeric elastomer/the ultrafine filaments in the substrate layer is in the range of 0/100 to 10/90; and (2) A1/A2≥0.85 (where A1 is the average space occupancy of the ultrafine filaments excluding the polymeric elastomer in the thickness range of 0-100 μm from the boundary between the adhesive layer and the substrate layer to the substrate layer side in any cross section parallel to the thickness direction of the grained artificial leather, and A2 is the average space occupancy of the ultrafine filaments excluding the polymeric elastomer in the thickness range of 100-300 μm from the boundary between the adhesive layer and the substrate layer to the substrate layer side in any cross section parallel to the thickness direction of the grained artificial leather). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
