<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovery device by an electrolytic process for recovering precious metals from a waste liquid containing the precious metals, which suppresses fluctuation of the amount of precipitation and precipitation particles caused by abnormality in electric current and short circuit trouble caused by abnormal precipitation of the precious metal derived from electric current concentration, and is excellent in stably precipitating a uniform precious metal, and to provide a method for recovering the precious metal. <P>SOLUTION: The precious metal recovery device includes: a cylindrical expander cathode arranged along the inner periphery of a cylindrical metal container constituting an electrolytic cell; and a cylindrical expander anode arranged along the outer periphery of the pipe-like anode. The precious metal recovery device is characterized in that the upper part of the expander cathode is connected and fixed with the upper shoulder part of the metal container in a reverse L-shape in its cross-section, and the lower part of the expander cathode is connected and fixed with the bottom part of the metal container, and both ends of the expander anode are connected and fixed with the pipe-like anode in a U-shape in its cross-section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
