<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for executing data conversion capable of executing angle switching without generating any problem even in case of reproducing copy content in the copy processing of multi-angle content. <P>SOLUTION: This information processor is configured to determine whether or not copy object data are multi-angle content for permitting angle switching processing, and to, when determining that the copy object data are the multi-angle content, generate conversion data which can be decoded without referring to at least any preceding picture in case of reproducing the picture of an angle switching point position as a reproduction start point. Concretely, this information processor is configured to, when the picture of the angle switching point is an I picture of a closed GOP, generate the conversion data by defining the I picture of the angle switching point as the I picture or an IDR picture of the closed GOP even in the converted data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
