<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element having a low drive voltage and improved durability, and to especially provide an organic electroluminescent element in which durability is improved significantly when a reverse bias is applied in driving in a drive method where a pulse voltage is applied. <P>SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent element 10 has a pair of electrodes consisting of a positive electrode 3 and a negative electrode 9 on a substrate 2, an emissive layer 6 between the pair of electrodes, and at least one organic layer between the emissive layer 6 and the negative electrode 9. The emissive layer 6 contains a carbazole compound of specific structure which is a both charges transporting material, and the at least one organic layer between the emissive layer 6 and the negative electrode 9 contains a triphenylene derivative of specific structure possibly having a high electron mobility. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
