<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device and an image forming apparatus that realize commonization of power supply, reduction of wasteful power consumption by applying an accurate bias voltage, and improvement of durability of a process member of the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A power supply device includes: a plurality of first bias output means for outputting to individually connected loads a first polarity bias; and second bias output means for outputting to connected plurality of loads a second polarity bias having a polarity opposite to the first polarity. Bias output values of the first and second bias output means are controlled, and the first or second polarity bias is applied to individual loads. Control limits of output values of bias output from the second bias output means are switched in accordance with temperature and humidity on the periphery of the loads. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
