<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weight for a golf club which is capable of adding comparatively heavy weight, capable of being easily and certainly installed to a shaft of the golf club such as a putter, and does not impair outward appearance of the golf club. <P>SOLUTION: This weight W1 for the golf club includes a weight body, a first fixing means, and a second fixing means. The weight body has a rod shape, and can be inserted into the shaft of the golf club. The first fixing means is provided in one end of the weight body, and has a press face pressing the inner face of the shaft, for fixing the one end side of the weight body to the shaft.
