<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic electronic component which can be made compact and ensures excellent bonding strength between a terminal electrode and a ceramic element. <P>SOLUTION: A ceramic electronic component 100 comprises a ceramic element 1 in which an internal electrode containing a metal component is embedded, and a pair of terminal electrodes 3 provided to cover both end faces 11 of the ceramic element having exposed internal electrode, respectively. The terminal electrode 3 has a first electrode layer, and a second electrode layer formed by baking a conductive green sheet, from the ceramic element 1 side, where the second electrode layer contains a metal component diffused from the internal electrode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
