PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a heating-medium flow channel corresponding to a part where the amount of heat generation significantly changes, from exceeding the maximum difference in temperature of a heating medium which is set in the cross section, in the width direction, of a reactor shell.
SOLUTION: Baffles 6a, 6b, which form heating-medium flow channels 8a, 8b corresponding to parts where the amount of heat generation A significantly changes, are installed at positions where the maximum difference in temperature of a heating medium 7 is not exceeded, the temperature being set in the cross section in the width direction of a reactor shell 1, so that the heating-medium flow channels 8a, 8b which correspond to the parts where the amount of heat generation A significantly changes due to a chemical reaction between a reactive fluid 10 and a catalyst may be narrower than heating-medium flow channels formed when baffles 6a, 6b, 6c are installed at equal intervals between tube plates 2, 3. Since the heating-medium flow channels 8a, 8b, which correspond to the parts where the amount of heat generation A significantly changes, are made narrow, the flow rate of the heating medium 7 flowing through the heating-medium flow channels 8a, 8b can be increased, and consequently the amount of the heat exchange per hour between a reaction tube 9 and the heating medium 7 can be decreased. Accordingly, the heating-medium flow channels do not exceed the maximum difference in temperature of the heating medium 7 which is set in the cross section, in the width direction, of the reactor shell 1.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
