<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing structure capable of maintaining sealing performance between a housing and a rotary shaft over a longer term. <P>SOLUTION: The sealing structure includes: a sealing member 4 provided on an inner peripheral surface 3a of the housing 3 and having a tip in slide contact with an outer peripheral surface 2a of a main shaft 2 to seal an annular gap between the housing 3 and the main shaft 2; an annular slinger 5 projected on the outer peripheral surface 2a of the main shaft 2 and arranged to oppose with respect to the sealing member 4 in the axial direction; and a slide contact position regulating member 7 interposed between a seal lip 4b and the slinger 5 to make the seal lip 4b deflect elastically in a direction to be separated for the slinger 5, and making the deflected seal lip 4b restore gradually in a direction approaching the slinger 5 by axial wear with slide contact with either of the seal lip 4 and the slinger 5, thus making the slide contact position of the seal lip 4b with respect to the outer peripheral surface 2a move gradually. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
