摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device capable of further heightening luminance of the light source device without lowering use efficiency of light. <P>SOLUTION: A light source device 10 comprises: two excitation light generation parts 20 and 30 comprising solid light source arrays 22 and 32 having multiple solid light sources 25 and 35 each of which generates excitation light and collimator lens arrays 27 and 37 having multiple collimator lenses; an excitation light synthesis part 50 for synthesizing excitation light from the two excitation light generation parts 20 and 30; a light condensing optical system 60 for condensing the excitation light at a predetermined condensation position; and a fluorescence generation part 70 comprising a fluorescent layer which generates fluorescence from at least one part of the excitation light condensed at the light condensing optical system 60. The respective excitation light from the two excitation light generation parts 20 and 30 is made incident onto different regions in a fluorescence generation region which is a condensation region in the fluorescent layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
