<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial heart valve using a heterogeneous biological tissue, having excellent suitability with a human tissue, not causing rejection or deformation, and allowing an operation by a noninvasive method, by use of a pig or cattle pericardium, and a stent, and to provide a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for producing this artificial heart valve using the heterogeneous biological tissue, after lapping a valve membrane body on a dacron body, they are sewed together by use of sutures, thereafter the dacron body is wound into a cylindrical shape such that the valve membrane body is positioned inward, both ends are sewed together by sutures, and it is inserted into the stent knitted from shape-memory alloy wires to produce the artificial heart valve. The produced artificial heart valve allows the operation without performing thoracic surgery by use of a catheter as a general stent insertion device. As compared to when using an existing artificial tissue valve or artificial tissue prosthetic piece, the artificial heart valve has effect that denaturation or retrogression by chemical, physical, or immunological reaction inside a living body does not occur by using a new tissue treatment method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
