<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a methioninase inhibitor obtained by using as an active ingredient a natural plant extract having no influence on the human body, thus usable at ease and having high safety; and to provide a composition for an oral cavity and food and drink each containing the methioninase inhibitor. <P>SOLUTION: An extract extracted by adding a mixed solvent of water, one or two or more kinds of lower alcohol such as methanol, ethanol, n-propanol and n-butanol, and organic solvent such as ether, chloroform, ethyl acetate, acetone, glycerol and propylene glycol to the leaf of Morus alba is used as an active ingredient. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
