<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel in which a thickness dimension of a retracting lens storage chamber provided outside the inside diameter of a movable barrel can be decreased in a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A lens barrel 10 includes plural lens holding frames, a movable lens barrel and lens holding frame driving means for changing a state from a collapsed state to a photographable state on a base member 82 having an imaging device 16. Each lens holding frame includes a retracting lens holding frame (31) that movably holds retracting lenses (13) in order to move all lens groups onto the same photographic optical axis OA in the photographable state and retract the retracting lenses out of the photographic optical axis OA in the collapsed state. The retracting lens holding frame (31) can move between the photographic optical axis OA and a retracting lens storage chamber by at least movement in a direction inclined from the photographic optical axis OA (arrow A1) and movement in a direction orthogonal to the photographic optical axis OA (arrow A2). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
