<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of executing accurate (normal) control processing based on a control signal transmitted from one sub-control unit to the other sub-control unit in the other sub-control unit, and to provide a method of controlling the game machine. <P>SOLUTION: A feedback request command is shifted from the transmission timing of a performance designation command for instructing control processing for deciding start conditions of a game performance for transmitting from a feedback request instruction output means 106H to a performance control unit 110.
