<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a rectifier capable of reducing power supply harmonics as well as reducing circuit loss. <P>SOLUTION: The rectifier comprises: phase detecting means 201 of an AC voltage; AC current detecting means 103; and DC voltage detecting means 110, and is configured to follow a desired target current waveform by chopping a semiconductor switch 104, the rectifier adjusting the DC voltage such that a phase when starting chopping of the semiconductor switch is to be a desired phase. Further, the target current waveform is a combination of a monotonous increase and a constant form in the first half of a half period of an AC power supply and includes a section having zero in the latter half. This leads to that as to an actual current, expanding of an energization phase due to the switching in the first half of the half period links to a current directly flowing in not by chopping the semiconductor switch adjacent to a voltage peak, resulting in that the harmonic current is reduced while the circuit loss is reduced, and the same current waveform is maintained even if a detection accuracy of the DC voltage is low or the load fluctuation exists. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
