The processing time required for intra-prediction is reduced. An image processor is provided which comprises: a reordering unit which reorders pixel values included in an image in such a way that the pixel value of a first pixel in a first sub-block included in a macro block in the image and the pixel value of a second pixel in a second sub-block included in the macro block are sequential, and the pixel value of a third pixel in the first sub-block and the pixel value of a fourth pixel in the second sub-block are sequential; a first predictor which uses the pixel values reordered by the reordering unit to generate predicted pixel values for the first pixel and the second pixel; and a second predictor which uses the pixel values reordered by the reordering unit to generate, concurrent to the processing performed by the first predictor, predicted pixel values for the third pixel and the fourth pixel.
