<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for more surely and closely forming a lateral seal part by a first lateral sealing device. <P>SOLUTION: An automatic packaging machine 1 includes a film folding part 5, a longitudinal sealing unit 7, a first lateral sealing unit 8, a second lateral sealing unit 9, a third lateral sealing unit 10, and a filling unit 6.
