摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide optical wavelength selective absorption dyes having the same molecular skeleton and absorption maximums in predetermined wavelength regions.

SOLUTION: The dyes include a rosarin derivative represented by formula (1) wherein R1and R2each independently denote a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; Ar denotes an aryl group; Z denotes a direct bond or an arylene group; provided that the case is excluded where R1and R2are an ethyl group, Ar is a phenyl group, and Z is a direct bond or a phenyl-1,4-diyl group.
