<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an exhaust gas sensor capable of effectively suppressing element-cracking caused by condensed water occurring the inside of a sensor. <P>SOLUTION: A clearance D1 between a surface of an oxygen measurement section 3a and an inside surface of insertion holes 2b of a holder 2 is dimensionally specified below a clearance D2 between the surface of the oxygen measurement section 3a and an inside surface of the inside protector 4i. Thereby, condensed water occurring in space between the surface of the oxygen measurement section 3a and the inside surfaces of the insertion holes 2b of the holder 2 is easily passed to space between the surface of the oxygen measurement section 3a and the inside surface of the inside protector 4i. Also, condensed water occurring in the space between the surface of the oxygen measurement section 3a and the inside surface of the inside protector 4i is hardly infiltrated into the space between the surface of the oxygen measurement section 3a and the inside surfaces of the insertion holes 2b of the holder 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
