CASE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently improve productivity of a fan case 1 by greatly reducing time for manufacturing the fan case 1.

SOLUTION: An intermediate flange 19 includes an annular first flange component 21 and a second flange component 23 abutted on and joined to the first flange component 21. The first flange component 21 is composed of a plurality of arcuate first segments 25 divided circumferentially, and the second flange component 23 is composed of a plurality of arcuate second segments 27 divided circumferentially. A position of a joint J1 between the first segments 25 and a position of a joint J2 between the second segments 27 are deviated circumferentially from each other.
