The invention provides an information display panel wherein a display medium, which is constituted by a positively charged particle group and a negatively charged particle group, is placed between two boards at least one of which is transparent and wherein an electric field, which is generated between electrodes, formed on the respective boards, by applying a voltage to the electrodes, is applied to the display medium, thereby driving the display medium to display information. The information display panel employs, as at least one of the electrodes (5, 6), such an electrode that the contact electrification ranks of the positively charged particles (3Ba) constituting the positively charged particle group (3B), the negatively charged particles (3Wa) constituting the negatively charged particle group (3W) and the electrode satisfy an expression as follows: the positively charged particles > the electrode > the negatively charged particles. In this way, the electrification characteristic of the electrode is controlled, thereby maintaining the contrast even after a great number of display switching operations and further preventing unevenness and the like from occurring.
