<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arrangement that forbids, where data stored in a portable storage medium such as a USB memory are encrypted and use of the data in an application requires decryption of the data and loading the data into a memory space, the application from storing the loaded content elsewhere than the portable storage medium. <P>SOLUTION: A portable storage medium 1 to be connected to an information processing device comprises a user area 11 for storing digital contents and a system area 10.
