<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perceive the presence, distribution, movement and the like of persons for efficiently performing lighting and air conditioning control as office environment in a target work place. <P>SOLUTION: A management and support system of work place environment includes: an ITV camera taking an image of the whole of the target work place; an image analysis section recognizing the heads of persons present in the work place on the basis of the image obtained from image information from the ITV camera; and equipment control unit recording the number and distribution of persons over time in the work place from the image analysis result as management and support information of the equipment provided in the work place, and based on the management and support information, issuing operation command information of the equipment in the work place. In the image analysis section, the heads of the persons in the image are collated with a collation data base to recognize the sizes of the heads and convert the same into distances from the motion imaging unit, and the presence and movement of the persons in the work place are recognized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
