<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and tough device for storing and opening a monomer ampule of a vacuum cement solidification system for polymethylmethacrylate bone cement in which cement powder and a monomer liquid are filled in advance so as to be supplied as a prepacked vacuum cement solidification system to a medical user. <P>SOLUTION: An ampule head is arranged at least partially in the connection part of a hollow chamber to the ampule, and walls of an external container include at least a deformable region or are altogether formed of deformable materials, whereby the tilting of the ampule with respect to the connection part is made feasible, and the diameter of the connection part is adapted to the dimension of the ampule head in such a manner that the ampule head can be fractured or broken off the ampule body when the ampule is tilted with respect to the connection part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
