<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that great care is needed and in particular it is frequently needed to very precisely arrange various kinds constituting parts of a magnetic bearing to a structure when installing in the magnetic bearing. <P>SOLUTION: The annular body 20 includes at least one radial slot associated with clamping means, and includes a set-back portion 21 in its face facing towards the stator structure 10. The face of the annular body 20 facing towards the stator structure 10 includes a sliding surface 23 that co-operates with a facing portion 14 of the sheath 13, and the set-back portion 21 of the annular body 20 presents a threaded portion 22 that co-operates with a threaded portion 32 of an adjustment ring 30 engaged in an annular groove 15 formed in the face of the sheath 13 that faces towards the body 20.
