<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly remove malodor (gas odor) contained in distilled unrefined liquor (distillate) just after distillation without storing the same in a storage tank. <P>SOLUTION: This device for removing the malodor includes a copper column 2 having a copper granule layer 21 formed with a plurality of the copper granules. Further, the device for removing the malodor includes a chelate resin column 4 having a chelate resin layer 41. And, by driving a pressurizing pump 7, the distillate 10 in a distilled liquor vessel 1 is passed through in the order of the copper column 2 and the chelate resin column 4. While the distillate 10 passes through the copper column 2, the copper granule layer 21 captures a sulfur compound which is the causing substance of the malodor to remove the malodor from the distillate 10. Then, while the distillate 10 passes through the chelate resin column 4, the chelate resin layer 41 captures copper ion eluted in the distillate 10 to make the copper concentration of the obtained treated liquid 50 at the standard value of that of drinking water or lower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
