<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base film that can keep a cupping within a prescribed range and that can exert a good electromagnetic transfer characteristic even when its magnetic layer becomes thinner. <P>SOLUTION: A laminated biaxially oriented polyester film for a coating type magnetic recording tape is a long laminated film obtained by laminating two or more layers of polyester film, and is used for a base film of a coating type magnetic recording tape, and curls within the range of 0.1 to 0.8 mm by depressing a side on which a magnetic layer is applied when the film is cut in a width of 1/2 inch in the width direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
