<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a triarylmethane dye excellent in a color property (luminance), heat resistance and light resistance, and a coloring composition for a color filter obtained by blending the same; and to provide a color filter using the same and excellent in a color property (luminance), heat resistance and light resistance. <P>SOLUTION: In the coloring composition for a color filter having, at least, a carrier of a coloring agent composed of at least a transparent resin, a precursor thereof or a mixture thereof, and the coloring agent, the coloring agent is a salt dye of a triarylmethane dye, in which an alkyl group is introduced to an ortho-position of a benzene ring, with a specific arylsulfonic acid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
