<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wedge clamp without need for pushing force in advance. <P>SOLUTION: A wedge clamp includes two pieces of wedges 5 and 5 in which an inner surface of at least one piece wedge is a wedge having a v-shaped groove. The inner surface of the wedge brought into contact with a linear object is formed in a v-shaped groove. A clamp body 2 is provided with a partition implement, and a coil-spring is interposed between the partition implement and an edge face of the wedge.
