DEVICE FOR MEASURING RESIDUAL QUANTITY OF COATING MATERIAL IN POWDER COATING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the residual quantity of a powder coating material A in a powder coating tank 1 simply from the work time of a powder coating apparatus.

SOLUTION: An electronic control device 13 for adjusting a flow throttling valve 10 of a main nozzle 7 and a flow throttling valve 11 of a sub air nozzle 8 includes a built-in program for measuring residual quantity. With the program, the work time of an injector 2 is integrated; the integrated amount of the use of a powder coating is calculated by multiplying the integrated work time by the discharge amount of a powder coating A per unit time; and the residual quantity in a powder coating tank 1 is measured by subtracting the integrated amount of the use of the powder coating from an initial amount supplied to the powder coating tank 1.
