<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of outputting images with stable image density over a long period by suppressing variation of a potential width and the number of gradations in a development contrast even if the surface film thickness of an image carrier is fluctuated. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device 100 comprises: a photoreceptor drum 1; developing device 4; a supply device 32 for replenishing toner within a developer to the developing device; a magnetic detection sensor 31 for detecting toner concentration of the toner stored in the developing device 4; a controller 50 for controlling driving of the supply device 32 based on a detection value of the toner concentration detected by the magnetic detection sensor 31; and a film thickness detection device 56 for detecting information related to a film thickness of the photoreceptor drum 1. The controller 50 controls driving of the supply device 32 so as to keep the toner concentration within the developing equipment 4 lower when the film thickness of the photoreceptor drum 1 is small than when the thickness is large based on the detection result of the film thickness detection device 56. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
