This invention relates to labelstock (1) for producing a master roll of printed labels, a method for producing a master roll of printed labels from a labelstock and an apparatus for producing a master roll of printed labels from a labelstock. The labelstock (1) includes a facestock (2) with a transparent liner (3) which is located on the bottom surface of the facestock (2) whilst it is being printed, and transferrable to the top surface of the facestock (2) after printing.
