摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a heat property of a ultrasound transducer. <P>SOLUTION: The first matching layer (206, 305, 401, and 501) made of metal can have a thermal conductivity of about greater than 30 W/mK. The second matching layer (205 and 304) can have a thermal conductivity of about 0.5-300 W/mK. The first matching layer (206, 305, 401, and 501) can have an acoustic impedance of about 10-20 MRayl, and the second matching layer (205 and 304) can have a lower acoustic impedance than this. The first matching layer (206, 305, 401, and 501) is thinner than the second matching layer (205 and 304). The ultrasound transducer (200, 300, 400, and 500) can include a lens (102) and a matching layer (206, 305, 401, and 501) disposed between the piezoelectric element (108 and 308) and the lens (102) can be configured to conduct heat from the piezoelectric element to the backing (110 and 310). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
