<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion element capable of improving the safety during manufacturing and photoelectric conversion efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A photoelectric conversion element 10 comprises a p-layer 12, an n-layer 14, and an i-layer 13 disposed between the p-layer 12 and the n-layer 14.
