<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acidic hair dye composition containing an acidic hair dye, the acidic hair dye composition suppressible of degradation in a touch and changes in a color tone of an oxidative hair dying agent caused by changes in a pH of hair, and to provide a method for dyeing hair using the composition. <P>SOLUTION: The acidic hair dye composition contains (A) 1.5 to 4.5 mass% of an ionic water-soluble polymeric compound, (B) 0.005 to 1.5 mass% of at least one buffering agent selected from a group consisting of organic acids, salts thereof, inorganic acids and salts thereof, and (C) an acidic dye. A 10 mass% aqueous solution of the acidic hair dye composition has a pH of 4 to 6; and hair after dyed with the composition has a pH of 5.5 to 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
