<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for facilitating an update operation of software in a computer and enabling a user to update the software at a desired timing. <P>SOLUTION: An information collecting device comprises: a storage device for storing computer software; an obtaining section for obtaining updated computer software which is the updated software of the computer software stored on the storage device from an information providing device connected to the information collecting device and storing the obtained updated computer software on the storage device; and a feeding section for feeding the updated computer software stored on the storage device by the obtaining section into the computer connected to the information collecting device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
