<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic contactor which can be downsized while improving operation reliability over impact. <P>SOLUTION: An electromagnetic contactor 20, which transmits attraction movement of a movable core 8d of an electromagnet 8 to a movable contact support 7a movable with the movable core 8d in parallel via a driving lever 9, is provided with pressing means 21 applying pressing force onto the movable core 8d so that the movable core 8d is held at the initial position of the movable core at which the movable core 8d separates away from a fixed core 8c and does not engage the movable contact support 7a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
