<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make recording faults inconspicuous. <P>SOLUTION: The first zigzag nozzle row L1 of a recording head 101 is made to communicate with a first common liquid chamber 112a and located at one side of the first common liquid chamber. The second zigzag nozzle row L2 of the recording head is made to communicate with the first common liquid chamber and located at the side opposite from the first nozzle row L1 across the first common liquid chamber. The third zigzag nozzle row L3 of the recording head is made to communicate with a second common liquid chamber 112b and located at one side of the second common liquid chamber. The fourth zigzag nozzle row L4 of the recording head is made to communicate with the second common liquid chamber and located at the side opposite from the third nozzle row L3 across the second common liquid chamber. Positions in a direction along a nozzle row of nozzles constituting the third nozzle row are shifted within a range of 90 to 270 degrees in phase compared with positions of the nozzles constituting the first nozzle row and positions in a direction along the nozzle row of the nozzles constituting the fourth nozzle row are shifted within a range of 90 to 270 degrees in phase compared with positions of the nozzles constituting the second nozzle row. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
