摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus which permits the deviation of the center of gravity of electric current in a spiral electric conductor 32 to be corrected. <P>SOLUTION: The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus having the spiral electric conductor 32 has slits S<SB POS="POST">1</SB>, S<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, and S<SB POS="POST">3</SB>provided along the longitudinal direction in the electric conductor 32 and separating electric current conducting routes L<SB POS="POST">1</SB>, L<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, L<SB POS="POST">3</SB>and L<SB POS="POST">n</SB>formed in the electric conductor 32 into multi-sections. Among the separated electric current conducting routes L<SB POS="POST">1</SB>, L<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, L<SB POS="POST">3</SB>and L<SB POS="POST">n</SB>, those located nearer to the outside of the spiral shape are made wider (wn>w3>w2>w1). The slits S<SB POS="POST">1</SB>, S<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, and S<SB POS="POST">3</SB>are formed in the locations where the radius r<SB POS="POST">0</SB>of curvature of the electric conductor 32 is locally reduced in the longitudinal direction of the electric conductor 32. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
