<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus presenting a communicating state of wireless communication to a user regardless of a type of an application to be activated. <P>SOLUTION: A personal computer 1 executes wireless communication with a communication device 11 by a communication module 8. A CPU 14 refers to a database 103 to activate an application associated with the communication device 11. When the activated application is an LED corresponding application 101, a control signal is transmitted from the LED-compatible application 101 to an LED I/F application 10.
