<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an image sensor from being obstructive even when the posture of a welding robot is changed. <P>SOLUTION: In a welding robot 1, a welding tool 17 is mounted on a distal end of an arm section 15 through a wrist section 16. A moving means 26 is mounted on the wrist section 16, an image sensor 25 is mounted through the moving means 26, and the moving means 26 is structured so as to move the image sensor 25 relative to the welding tool 17. Furthermore, the moving means 26 is structured so as to move the image sensor 25 along an axis of the wrist section 16. The moving means 26 is structured so as to move the image sensor 25 around the axis of the wrist section 16.
