<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fundus observation device, which allows effective and efficient follow-up using a tomographic image of fundus. <P>SOLUTION: The fundus observation device includes an image forming means; a position information generation means; and an image processing means. The image forming means detects an interference light between a signal light and a reference light passed through the fundus of a subject eye, and forms a tomographic image in depth direction of the fundus based on the detection result. The position information generation means generates, based on the formed tomographic image, depth information indicating a position in depth direction of the tomographic image. The image processing means performs, based on depth information generated for a tomographic image formed first and depth information generated for a tomographic image formed subsequently, alignment in depth direction of the former tomographic image and the subsequent tomographic image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
