<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering control apparatus for a vehicle that avoids a steering operation which is not intended by a driver and that does not give a sense of incongruity to the driver. <P>SOLUTION: The steering control apparatus for the vehicle includes: a turning device for turning a steering control wheel according to a steering state of a steering wheel steered by the driver; and a reaction-force giving device for giving a steering reaction force to the steering wheel.
