<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light-emitting device capable of uniforming the density of injection current into an active layer and capable of improving light extraction efficiency, and to provide a semiconductor package having the semiconductor light-emitting device. <P>SOLUTION: A semiconductor light-emitting device 1 comprises: a sapphire substrate 11; an n-type semiconductor layer 12 provided under the sapphire substrate 11; an active layer 13 that is provided under the n-type semiconductor layer 12 and emits light; a p-type semiconductor layer 14 provided under the active layer 13; a transparent conductive film 15 that is provided under the p-type semiconductor layer 14 and transmits the light; an interlayer insulating film 16 that is provided under the transparent conductive film 15 and includes a plurality of first openings 16a of an island-shaped; a reflection film 17 that is provided under the interlayer insulating film 16, includes a plurality of second openings 17a of an island-shaped overlapping the first openings 16a, and reflects the light; and a connection electrode 18 that is provided under the reflection film 17 and is connected to the transparent conductive film 15 by a portion of the electrode entering the first openings 16a and the second openings 17a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
