<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swab that can surely, efficiently and safely collect a specimen. <P>SOLUTION: The swab includes: a shaft part 1 formed with a flexible material such as a crystalline resin; a collecting part 2 with a brush piloerection body on one end to a longitudinal direction of the shaft part 1; and a grip part 3 on one end to an opposite direction. When the shaft part 1 is bent, the swab can be bent without breaking the shaft 1 and can collect specimens from pharynx, nasal cavity, middle ear, internal ear, horny coat, urethra, anus, rectum, vagina or skin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
