<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump type water heater capable of surely preventing faults such as a tracking phenomenon of a control board even when much water in a valve cover is allowed to flow into the inside of a body. <P>SOLUTION: The heat pump type water heater 20 includes: a body 1 incorporating a refrigeration cycle circuit configured by connecting an air refrigerant heat exchanger 11, a compressor 7, a water refrigerant heat exchanger 4 and an expansion valve 10 through a refrigerant passage; a partition member 15 for partitioning the inside of the body 1 into a first space (air chamber) in which at least the air refrigerant heat exchanger 11 is arranged and a second space (machine room) in which at least the compressor 7 is arranged; a water charge valve and a hot water discharge valve which are arranged on the outside of the body 1; and a valve cover 17 which covers the water charge valve and the hot water discharge valve and receives water such as dew condensation water dropped from the water charge valve and the hot water discharge valve. Here, the water heater is constituted so that water collected in the valve cover 17 is allowed to flow into the first space without allowing the collected water to flow into the second space. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
