<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temple device of a loom in which the mode of the operation can be optimally controlled to prevent the damage of warps or the like when a temple is automatically displaced from a standby position to an action position. <P>SOLUTION: The temple device which is used for the loom weaving a woven fabric including two or more weaving sections having different densities has a temple position automatic switching mechanism which automatically displaces the temple to either the action position or the standby position. In a driving method of the temple in the temple device, when the temple is moved and displaced from the standby position toward the action position according to a switch of the weaving, the mode of the operation relating to the movement of the temple is stored in advance and, with a switch of the weaving, the movement of the temple is controlled in accordance with the stored mode of the operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
