<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bush cutter having a grass-winding prevention cup for preventing winding of trees and plants, or the like onto the end of a bush cutter, and for efficiently performing bush-cutting work by lightening a burden imposed on a worker. <P>SOLUTION: The bush cutter includes: a rotary drive unit, such as an engine; and a bearing unit connected to a rotating shaft of the rotary drive unit with a connecting rod, and having a rotary blade attached to the end of the connecting rod. In the bush cutter, the grass-winding prevention cup is formed in a cup shape from a sidewall having a nearly circular shape in a plan view and having a prescribed height and, a bottom wall including an opening having an internal diameter larger than an external diameter at the lower end of the outer peripheral surface of the bearing unit in the center portion, and is integrally stuck to the lower end of the outer peripheral surface of the bearing unit by fixing means while the side of an opposite rotating side is open without projecting to the side of the rotary blade from an attachment surface of a receiving flange of the bearing unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
